What is a Column?

Column is a  grouping of cells that run from the top to the bottom of a grid. Columns run vertically in a Grid and help to identify the location of data. Each column is identified by its header (Column Header). The intersection point between a row and a column is called cell/field, which is the basic storage unit for data in Grid.

What is a Column Header?

The column header is the first row of the Grid containing a heading used to identify each column in the Grid as depicted in Image -1.
